Step 3 has to be done within the FTP client you are using to upload the archive.php file to your server. Most likely, you need to right click the file and set the file properties. Look for a rights or access section and grant read rights to your server.

Step 4 means you have to identify the wordpress folder (in themes) named like the theme you are using. Within that folder, you need to find the index.php file and copy the beginning and end of it in the archive template file.

I don’t think I will be doing a screenshot/video version of this installation process as it would probably turn out to be too specific to the software and my wordpress theme anyway.

Don’t hesitate coming back to me if you need more precisions, though.

Hello, I like this great idea, I am trying plugins for index but i don like tem and finally found this template, it sounds great and it looks very proffessional.

I am trying to install it but now I am lost on the steps 3 and 4…Do you have screentshots of the step by step installation or even betetr a video? I would be great!

Thanks very much for this – I like it and have implemented it on my site. Had to borrow some of your CSS styling though, as I couldn’t get it to work using the straight download. Might like to consider including that with the download??
